We spent a wonderful late afternoon with Amber and Jonathan capturing some great moments. They are such a wonderful couple and so much fun to be around. We met them near Woodland Park to capture some of the wonderful scenery that can be offered in that area and we made our way into Manitou Springs and finally finished in Garden of the Gods.

We wish them the best on their future wedding and marriage! We just know they have the love to last a lifetime!

Falling behind again, lol. We recently had the pleasure of photographing the Boyd family for the second time and we had a ton of fun capturing their family. They are so precious and such a wonderful loving family, it was truly a pleasure to photograph them! We took these at Monument Valley park in just a beautiful area that really worked to bring out the best in everyone!

And…….. Here are some more shots from this wonderful wedding. These two were a great couple to work with! So laid back, relaxed and just fun to be around. They chose a wonderful venue and we had a real blast taking their photos!

Ok, so we’ve fallen behind again with our posts and have yet to put up anything on the Alford wedding. So, here’s a quick peak with more to come! I promise!

Several months ago, our very dear friends the Boveé’s gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Nolan. Due to some complications he was born a little early and stayed in the hospital for a bit. We were blessed enough to be able to be there for them as they went through these times and were given the opportunity to document the Boveé’s as they went through this experience. This was an emotional experience for all of us and we are so happy to have been able to share and document the experience with them.

We put together this video for them and they have been kind enough to allow us to share it with all of you. Before you watch the video, please read the note below from Nolan’s proud Father!

A note from Nolan’s Dad:

When we checked into the hospital to have our son I updated my
Facebook status to read “A party of 2 checked in, a party of 3 will be
checking out.” It didn’t work out that way.

Judah and Carmen helped us capture this moment, and in turn, further
capture our hearts as phenomenal people and amazing friends.

So, we’ve been a bit busy and have managed to neglect our blog severely… We are so sorry. If you’ve been paying attention to Carmen’s Facebook you’ve probably been aware of what we’ve been up to, but that’s no excuse for us to neglect our lovely bloggy-blog. So, we will be renewing our efforts to update both our blog and Facebook (go like us!) on a more regular basis.

Well, without further ado, here are a few photos from what we’ve been up to and what we’ll be updating the blog with over the next couple of days.

So, we’ve been out of touch a bit lately and for that we apologize, but we have some exciting stuff coming and some very cool updates to post from the last few months. First we have to address our upcoming 2012 Seniors though.

Ok, so I’m a little behind getting this posted. I actually shot Rachel almost 2 weeks ago and got these edited about a week ago, but have been super busy with regular life, so I kinda forgot to update the blog… Ooops!!

Anyway, here is wonderful Rachel! One of our senior reps for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year. We went out to shoot these and had very little time, so the whole shoot was less than 45 minutes and on top of it all it was super windy! We managed to make the best of it and Rachel was a trooper! She is so positive and such a wonderful, uplifting spirit!
