So, we’ve been a bit busy and have managed to neglect our blog severely… We are so sorry. If you’ve been paying attention to Carmen’s Facebook you’ve probably been aware of what we’ve been up to, but that’s no excuse for us to neglect our lovely bloggy-blog. So, we will be renewing our efforts to update both our blog and Facebook (go like us!) on a more regular basis.

Well, without further ado, here are a few photos from what we’ve been up to and what we’ll be updating the blog with over the next couple of days.

So, we’ve been out of touch a bit lately and for that we apologize, but we have some exciting stuff coming and some very cool updates to post from the last few months. First we have to address our upcoming 2012 Seniors though.

Ok, so I’m a little behind getting this posted. I actually shot Rachel almost 2 weeks ago and got these edited about a week ago, but have been super busy with regular life, so I kinda forgot to update the blog… Ooops!!

Anyway, here is wonderful Rachel! One of our senior reps for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year. We went out to shoot these and had very little time, so the whole shoot was less than 45 minutes and on top of it all it was super windy! We managed to make the best of it and Rachel was a trooper! She is so positive and such a wonderful, uplifting spirit!

I had such a blast with these two Juniors! I’ve known them both since they were 11 so to see them so grown up, is both exciting and so sad…they are both such sweet souls and so much fun to work with! Enjoy…

Little Miss Kallie has been a friend of our family for years through dance and just general friendship with her family. I can’t say enough good things about Kallie as I think she is just a wonderful person and destined for greatness! We were blessed with the opportunity to photograph her for her senior portraits and are pretty darn happy with how things turned out!

Rebecca is a dancer who danced at the same studio my daughter did last year and, she is also an aspiring actress who will be moving along to LA in the next year to pursue her dreams! We have no doubt she will succeed and hope she doesn’t forget us little people when she’s all famous and stuff!

So we had a very busy weekend this past Labor day weekend and had several Seniors to shoot. Jack was one of our Seniors who also happened to be the brother of Claire whom we shot two years ago! Pretty awesome to get families that come back to us for their photos.

Anyway, Jack attends Discovery Canyon and was quite an interesting guy to hang out with. We had a good time messing around and getting some great shots. Hope you like them Jack!

We had another shoot over the weekend with Shawn whom we know from many years ago when he danced at the same dance studio our daughter did. Now he plays soccer for Pine Creek. We had a great sunset shoot with Shawn and got some great shots!

We had the privilege of taking Heather’s senior photos over the weekend. She wanted to take us on an adventure so we started in Old Colorado City and ended up at Graffiti Falls in Manitou… We had a blast and got some wonderful shots! Here’s a quick peek of what we got on our excursion.
