This past weekend I had the opportunity to do a quick impromptu shoot with my friend Dwight’s 1964 Ford Fairlane. It is a beautiful car, only has 83k original miles and looks almost brand new. I hope to get to shoot it again sometime. Automotive stuff has never really been my thing, but I really enjoyed shooting this classic.
This past weekend we had the distinct pleasure of shooting the Dance Unlimited 2008 Recital. This is actually the studio where our daughter dance and where we have made many friends.
I have to say, while I had shot many dances before, I had never shot this many consecutive dances, and that is some serious work. There were 53 numbers on Friday night and 55 on Saturday. On top of these I shot a few of the duets and solos on Wednsday for a few families.
So far the reviews have been good and it’s been a great learning experience for us, not only with photography, but also on the business side. There is a lot that goes into presenting over 5 thousand photos online for viewing and purchase!!
